Our Tin Cloth Insulated Work Vest combines our legendary waxed cotton and cutting-edge PrimaLoft® insulation for a multi-purpose layer with features from our favorite vests of the last three decades. The shell is built with oil finish Tin Cloth–with roots that trace back to the rain-soaked Pacific Northwest forests of the 1920s and a proven ability to withstand the punishing conditions encountered by foresters, hunters and tradesmen. The tightly-woven duck canvas presents a nearly impenetrable barrier to thorns, brush and abrasion, and with its heavily-waxed finish, shrugs off water and mud without flinching. The 60g PrimaLoft® Gold insulation provides lightweight warmth that mimics goose down, but unlike down, keeps you warm even if it gets wet. This hardworking vest is lined with our signature dry finish Cover Cloth for natural comfort, and its drop-tail hem provides coverage while bending or climbing. The smooth-operating front zipper is made of metal for unfailing reliability. The rib-knit collar is a special wool blend, providing a warm feel that only wool can offer. The pockets are taken from our best-selling wool vest–flannel-lined handwarmer pockets plus chest- stow and slotted-utility pockets. - Care: Do not wash or dry clean – brush or wipe clean with a damp rag. Rewax as needed to maintain maximum water resistance. To prevent the transfer of oils, we recommend avoiding prolonged contact between Filson oil finish goods and light-colored fabrics, especially in warm weather.

Returns
If you need to return an item that you have purchased online, you can return the item at any of our locations in-person.
- If you would like to return the item online, simply visit the order page through your account or by clicking view order on the confirmation email
- Items for return must be unworn and still have the tags attached
- Once we receive your returned item our team will look over the item and make sure it clears inspection and a refund will be processed within a week of receiving it. Refunds take 5-10 business days to appear back onto your original form of payment.
- Return labels will be provided for a flat rate of $15 off of your return
Exchanges
If you would like to exchange an item that you have purchased online, you can exchange the item at any of our locations in-person.
- So if you would like to exchange an item please reach out to our customer service email to request the item you would like.
- The customer service team will create an exchange for you to begin the return of the original item
- Once the team receives the return the exchange item will be shipped.
- Return labels will be provided for a flat rate of $15

Can I make changes to my order after it’s been placed?
We do everything we can to fulfill orders quickly and unfortunately cannot make updates after an order has been placed. These changes include removing or adding products and/or changing the delivery address. If a mistake has been made with your order information, it’s quickest to create a new order with the correct information and then let our Customer Service.
